In Helmond, two cars burned out in the same neighborhood in quick succession last night. The police suspect arson. The first fire was in Turbotstraat. While extinguishing the fire, a report came of a car on fire on Scharstraat, a few hundred meters away.
In the case of the first fire reported at just before 4:30 a.m., it concerned a van. A passenger car was on fire in the Scharstraat. In both cases, the vehicles must be considered lost. No one was injured.
