Late at night on November 21, District 8 Police and Ho Chi Minh City Police Departments completed the investigation of the crime scene. murder 3 people died in a house in the alley 260 Luu Huu Phuoc, Ward 15, District 8.
The police are also taking statements from the young male suspect in this case.
Photos from home cameras recorded that at 4:35 p.m., a young man about 30 years old was driving a Nouvo motorbike wearing a costume and helmet from a technology motorbike taxi company.
When arriving in front of alley 260 Luu Huu Phuoc, this person stopped for a moment and then continued driving into the alley.
Images recorded from home security cameras show a young man carrying a 20-liter gasoline can in the car. Inside contains a light blue liquid like gasoline.
Some witnesses at the scene said that the incident occurred at 4:45 p.m. (ie 10 minutes after the suspect appeared in front of alley 260 Luu Huu Phuoc).
This person then approached Mrs. D.’s (victim) house and rang at the door. After Mrs. D. opened the door, the suspect attacked with a weapon, causing Mrs. D. to die.
Not stopping, this person continued to pour gasoline and set fire to Mrs. D’s house. As a result, two children on the first floor of the house died.
Immediately afterwards, the suspect was arrested and taken to the Police headquarters for clarification.
As PLO reported, on the afternoon of November 21, the fire started from a house located in alley 260 Luu Huu Phuoc, Ward 15, District 8. Detecting the fire, residents called the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting Police and District 8 Police Station sent forces to the scene to extinguish the fire. The fire was then controlled.
Determining that there was a serious element of murder, District 8 Police coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police Departments to urgently examine and investigate.
