Arsenal’s Ukrainian midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko is out for the remainder of the season due to a calf injury he sustained against Newcastle United on 7 May. This was reported by The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.
Zinchenko will not need an operation, but his participation in the June matches of the Ukrainian national team is also a big question. There is a high probability that the midfielder will recover only by the start of the next club season.
In addition to Zinchenko, another Arsenal player flew out before the end of the season – defender William Saliba. He failed to fully recover from his back injury.
