Arsenal have no plans to loan Emile Smith Rowe to West Ham and the midfielder is determined to fight for his place. The Hammers are looking for attacking reinforcements and have expressed interest in Smith Rowe.
The 23-year-old has battled injury problems over the past 18 months and has only started one Premier League game this season. Arsenal, however, have no interest in loaning Smith Rowe and he is also focused on regaining his place in the Gunners team.
West Ham are also in talks with Manchester City over a move for midfielder Kalvin Phillips. Newcastle are also known to be admirers but have been unwilling to bow to City’s demands for a £7m loan fee and an obligation to make the deal permanent in the summer.
