In the English Premier League, Arsenal lost 0:2 at home to West Ham and failed to return to the top spot.
In the 13th minute, Thomas Susik broke the net from close range. Early in the second half, Mavrobelus sealed the victory with a corner kick.
In another game, Tottenham lost to Brighton 2:4 as a guest. The reversal came in 11 minutes when 18-year-old Brighton player Xuan Suhuo broke the net from outside the penalty area. Twelve minutes later, Zuo Baidu scored a 12-yard shot, and Brighton led to 2:0 at halftime.
After changing sides, Pervas Estubilen succeeded with a 25-yard shot from the goal; Zuo Baidu also scored from 12 yards, and Brighton once pulled away to 4:0. At the end of the game, Tottenham scored a goal each from Willis and Bing Davis, catching up to 2:4.
In the standings, Arsenal continues to rank second with 40 points from 19 games, 2 points behind leader Liverpool.
