A four-way transfer fight involving both Arsenal and Tottenham is on the rise, with offers declared on the horizon ‘soon’, according to a report.
Arsenal Y Tottenham Both have attacked the summer transfer window so far in hopes of ending last season’s misery once and for all. The Gunners have invested in their future with Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga. But his acquisition of Ben White for £ 50 million is certainly a move for him here and now.
Likewise, Tottenham has sanctioned its agreements in the hope of safeguarding both its present and its future.
The impressive Cristian Romero will add steel to his bottom line to the tune of £ 47.2 million after his one-year loan concludes. Bryan Gil has the potential to cause defensive problems for years to come, while Pierluigi Gollini could ultimately be Hugo Lloris’ successor.
Now, according to the Daily Express, North London’s rivals have converged on their next target. Quoting Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, the pair is revealed to be lining up the Bordeaux attacker, Yacine Adli.
The 20-year-old has been a frequent scorer with France’s youth teams through the U-20s. He has also played regularly for Bordeaux in Ligue 1 since moving from PSG in 2019.
Operating primarily as an offensive midfielder, Adli could provide depth behind Emile Smith Rowe at Arsenal or provide the link between midfield and attack at Tottenham.
Arsenal’s search for reinforcements as a playmaker has been well documented. Although agreements for the main targets, Martin Odegaard or James Maddison, will be difficult to achieve.
Lille and AC Milan are also said to be in the frame. The Italian powerhouse is said to have already had a ‘€ 12 million offer’ that included a rejected 10 percent sale clause.
Bordeaux is understood to be seeking a higher rate after PSG secured a 40 percent sale clause in their contract.
If Milan or Lille exceed 12 million euros, only time will tell. But they may have to act fast with Arsenal and Tottenham who are already in ‘contact’.
Furthermore, it was stated that an offer from one or both of the Premier League rivals could come “soon”.

Tottenham star is considering options after Nuno snub
Meanwhile, being snubbed in the preseason has left a costly signing considering a premature departure from Tottenham in this window, according to a report.
French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, 24, became the club’s record signing when he came in for around £ 55 million in 2019. Ndombele’s career at Spurs has been a stop-and-go affair, although he began to rebound with former boss José Mourinho.
However, according to Athletic, Ndombele hasn’t had a single minute of preseason action with Nuno despite being fit and available to play. After Tottenham’s final preseason game against Arsenal, it was assumed that Ndombele was not up to date after Nuno’s comments.

“Tanguy is not with us today,” said the Spurs coach. “He is not injured. But we believe that it is not yet the time for him to be part of the game. ”
But the article claims that Ndombele had been training in the run-up to the game following an absence for paternity leave.
Apparently, Ndombele has not taken well the lack of faith shown in him. As such, the former Lyon star is described as “weighing his options and he will see what the situation is at the end of August.”
