It was a great weekend for Arsenal as defending champion Manchester City unexpectedly drew 2-2 against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz in the second half tipped the balance in Arsenal’s favor at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners lead Liverpool by one point and are five points ahead of City, which is fourth.

“It was an incredible performance. It was a pleasure to admire her from start to finish,” Arteta said. “Playing like that against a phenomenal Brighton team was incredible. “We were patient, we persevered, we had conviction and we managed to get the result we deserved.”
