Arsenal humiliated West Ham – fans left mid-match

It was scoreless for half an hour. Then Arsenal went on the knock against West Ham and the first goal came after half an hour when William Saliba headed high from a corner from Declan Rice.

Shortly afterwards, Bukayo Saka was brought down when he rounded Alphonse Areola in a free position and the outcome was a penalty. The star managed the penalty himself and made it 2-0. Before the break, Arsenal also made it 3-0 when Gabriel Magalhães headed in a Declan Rice free-kick.

It didn’t end there. In extra time in the first act of the match, Leandro Trossade made it 4-0.

– It’s unbelievable how West Ham collapsed, but you can’t take anything away from Arsenal. They have been brilliant, said former England international Alan Smith on Sky Sports.

In connection with the 4-0 goal, a large crowd of West Ham supporters left the arena.

– They are streaming towards the exit, Smith said.

The score was 4-0 at the break and wild cheers erupted at the London Stadium. When the second half got underway, the London Stadium was half-full.

Just over a quarter into the second act of the match, Bukayo Saka scored his second goal and 5-0 in the match. Just minutes later, Declan Rice made it 6-0 with a superb finish and he chose to forgo celebrating against his old club.

– What a team effort by Arsenal, former Tottenham player Michael Brown said in the BBC.

Rice was sometimes booed in the game, which caused Brown to react.

– I don’t understand the appeal against Declan Rice. I don’t know if it’s a fun thing to throw him off balance in this match. Leave him alone. “He was a good representative of West Ham when he was there,” Brown said.

With the defeat, Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League.

– A brilliant effort. From start to finish we dominated the match and controlled everything. Today we were really sharp in front of goal. I’m happy with the team, says Arsenal’s Martin Ødegaard to Sky Sports according to the BBC.

West Ham, for their part, have faltered recently, with manager David Moyes under pressure, and are in eighth place.
