London’s Arsenal have a preliminary agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for the transfer of winger Mykhailo Mudrik, reports TodoFichajes.
The high price announced by the Pitmen alienated several contenders for the player, but the Gunners opted to push the deal through to the finals. Arsenal will spend around 65 million euros and another 10 will be provided as bonuses.
Thus, the 21-year-old Ukrainian will become the club’s most expensive acquisition since the failed deal to transfer Nicolas Pepe in 2019.
