“Arsenal Fans Joke as West Ham Under-18s Crush Them to Win FA Youth Cup”

Every Arsenal fan made the same joke when Declan Rice congratulated West Ham Under-18s on winning the FA Youth Cup.

The Hammers crushed their London rivals 5-1 after coming from a goal down to utterly crush Jack Wilshere’s young side.

With almost 35,000 spectators at the Emirates watching the match, West Ham have won the FA Youth Cup for the first time since 1999 and they have done it in style.

And speaking on social media, club captain Rice congratulated the academy side.

Accompanied by a love heart and hammer emoji, the England international wrote: “U18 is amazing! Youth Cup Champions!”

It left all the Arsenal fans making the same joke, including this supporter, who replied: “Bro, did we lose?”

Another wrote: “Play for us next season.”

And this fan said, “Wrong team mate Declan, we lost 5-1.”

A fourth posted: “Come senior team on the losing side anyway g.”

This follower responded, “We literally lost. Have some shame.

And another said: “Deccers mate that we lost?”

Arsenal are heavily linked with Rice and could sign the midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Mikel Arteta wants to bring a force to strengthen his team in midfield.

And Rice could leave West Ham as he enters the final year of his contract in east London, where he has yet to underscore his future.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked, but Arsenal seem to be leading the race.

As for the Youth Cup final, the Gunners had been a goal ahead when Omari Benjamin gave them an early lead.

But that was for the best for Arsenal’s Under-18s as West Ham came back strong.

George Earthy scored a whoop to equalize before goals from Callum Marshall and Noah Cooper made it 3-1, the latter a sensational lob.

Kaelan Casey and Josh Briggs scored a couple more from corners to make it an embarrassing night for Wilshere.

This is the fourth time that West Ham have won the FA Youth Cup in 1963, 1981 and 1999, where Michael Carrick and Joe Cole played.

Rice even visited the Hammers’ locker room after the game and showed off her dance moves…with the results posted on Twitter.
