Haaland completed a hat-trick in the first half, which he did for the second time in the Premier League. Only former England internationals Michael Owen and Andy Cole were able to do that before him. First, in the 12th minute, he scored from a penalty, in the 35th minute, he increased the score with a placed header and converted the second penalty kick in the set-up.

On the verge of returning to the second league after only one season among the elite is Burnley, who lost 1:4 at home to sixth-placed Newcastle.
