Arsenal is still five points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table after the 27th round of the English Premier League. The “Gunners” didn’t give Fulham a chance in the London away derby on Sunday and won 3-0 (3-0). Gabriel Magalhaes (21st), Gabriel Martinelli (26th) and Martin Ödegaard (45th + 2) ensured clear conditions before the break and ensured that the leader scored three points for the fifth time in a row.
Man City had already won 1-0 away against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Third Manchester United couldn’t get past a zero without the injured Marcel Sabitzer against bottom side Southampton. In view of the fact that the home side were outnumbered from the 34th minute, the draw does not have to be classified as an embarrassment. After a foul on Carlos Alcaraz, whom he hit on the shin, Casemiro first saw yellow and rightly saw the red card after studying the video. After that, both teams could have scored the winning goal.
The “Red Devils” are already eleven points behind local rivals Manchester City, but have played one game less.
