Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana has named Arsenal’s William Saliba the funniest player he’s ever played with, much to the Gunner’s delight.

Fofana spoke on the YouTube channel ‘Oh My Goal’ in France on various topics.

The defender was asked to name the funniest player he has appeared with in his young career to date.

Jamie Vardy got a yell, but Saliba took the crown for Fofana. The pair came to Saint-Etienne together and later emerged as central defenders with the French club.

They both ended up making big moves in the Premier League. Saliba joined Arsenal in 2019 before Fofana signed for Leicester a year later.

Fofana may be injured right now, but so far he has been slightly more successful than Saliba.

Later in the interview, Fofana named Marseille his dream club, ironically the club where Saliba is on loan from Arsenal.

Arsenal ace Saliba saw the interview and took to Instagram to react.

Saliba was happy to be the funniest in Fofana’s eyes, noting that the couple have a ‘bromance’.

When they saw Fofana wearing an Arsenal jersey over the summer, Arsenal fans wanted her to join. Some even joked that it had Saliba’s name on the back.

It’s clear that the pair are very close even if they haven’t played together recently.

Saliba hopes to become so popular with Arsenal teammates one day, but a lot will depend on Mikel Arteta’s verdict.
