Arsenal has barely reached the semi-finals of the English FA Cup. The record winner (13 titles) won 2-1 at Sheffield United late on Sunday. In front of empty spectator stands in the Bramall Lane stadium, Pepe (25th / penalty) and Dani Ceballos (91st) scored the goals for Arsenal.

David McGoldrick (87.) had equalized for Sheffield in the closing stages, which did not last long. It was the second Sheffield goal that was not given offside after VAR decisions.

Arsenal were unlucky on the other side: defender David Luiz suffered a knee injury and had to be replaced shortly after the half-time break.

Manchester United had already reached the semi-finals 2-1 after extra time on Saturday. The other two games took place on Sunday: Newcastle United with ÖFB team player Valentino Lazaro welcomed defending champion Manchester City. Third-placed Leicester City from ex-ÖFB captain Christian Fuchs meets Chelsea.
