Maurizio Arrivabene, former boss of Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1, has been banned from the world of Italian football following the financial scandal which plunged Juventus.
Juventus chief executive Maurizio Arrivabene has been banned from Italian football for two years following his involvement in the financial scandal rocking Italy’s biggest football club.
Arrivabene had been appointed head of Scuderia Ferrari in F1 by Sergio Marchionne, then President of the Prancing Horse, in 2014. The Italian, a football fan, had led the squadra until his replacement by Mattia Binotto at dawn of the 2019 season.
After his departure from Formula 1, Arrivabene had taken over the management of Juventus, assuming the responsibilities of general manager of the Italian club.

For its part, the Scuderia will start the new Formula 1 season to come with, once again, a new boss. The French Frédéric Vasseur is now the new strongman of the famous Italian team, replacing Binotto since the beginning of this year.
