The mobile unit of the BOG started on Wednesday 21 July with the vaccination of detainees detained in the police cell houses. It concerns detainees who have indicated that they want to be vaccinated, the Suriname Police Corps has just reported.

This action was carried out after the command was given by the corps leadership to conduct an investigation into the need for vaccination in the various Surinamese police cell houses.

The mobile unit of the BOG is assisted in this action by the leaders of the previously held vaccination campaign of the Suriname Police Force and police officers from the various jurisdictions in charge of the detention centers.
