KAPELLE – During the Kapelle days in Kapelle, the police had to arrest several people. Various fines were also handed out during checks around the event.
During the fair, according to the local police officers of Kapelle, it was especially busy on Friday and Saturday. However, some young people were ‘annoyingly present’, so that it was sometimes ‘really necessary’ to act, according to the police. “This resulted in some arrests and reports, in particular for rowdy behavior and failure to comply with a given demand,” said the police.
Various checks were also carried out around the event. Some fines have been issued for, among other things, public drunkenness, failure to show an identity document, rowdy behavior, driving without a license and using drugs in public.
Despite the above, the police say they can look back on a pleasant event with virtually no incidents and where there was good cooperation with the organization, security and enforcement.
