Officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City, assigned to surveillance at the Azteca Stadium, located in the Coyoacán mayor’s office where the soccer match between the América and Guadalajara teams took place, carried out a special operation against the resale of tickets, which led to the arrest of 10 people.

For the “Safe Stadium” device, 2,746 police officers were deployed and resulted in the arrest of three women and seven men, who were identified when they were offering tickets at a different price than at the ticket offices, outside the stadium. Nine tickets were also recovered. .

After their arrest, those possibly responsible were informed of their constitutional rights and were placed at the disposal of the Civic Judge, who will determine the corresponding administrative sanction.

Meanwhile, the officers who were carrying out security tours in streets surrounding the stadium were requested by several residents of the Viejo Ejido neighborhood of Santa Ursula Coapa, since they detained a subject who possibly broke the glass of a car and stole a car stereo. who was arrested and presented before the agent of the Public Ministry, where an agreement was reached with the affected person.

The SSC uniformed personnel maintained the operational deployment until the end of the activities and the total relief of the attendees, while the Traffic police officers expedited traffic on the main avenues in the area.
