A woman has been charged with murder in the death of her aunt in East Harlem this weekend.
Police responded to a call for a wellness check Saturday night at a home on East 100th Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found victim Ana Nieves, fully clothed in the bathtub with head trauma.
The victim’s death was certified at the scene.
His niece, Kristie Miro, was arrested and is facing charges.
According to sources, Miro has a history of mental illness and would have fought with his aunt before her death.
