The Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) arrested a man who scammed people with the message, “Hi, I’m Maria.”
Douglas Rico reported that this subject was in Yaracuy state and officials from the Yaritagua delegation made the arrest.
He was identified as Eudy Alexander Peraza Alvarado, 38 years old. The way to act was to write this “Hello, I’m Maria” message on WhatsApp to the unsuspecting people that he scammed with false currency buying and selling.
Several people reported to the authorities having been scammed, since after making the transfers, they simply disappeared.
It was placed at the order of the Fourth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry.
