Arrested inmate for drug dealer who escaped from Cipinang prison!

“Those who fled were arrested again,” said on Tuesday (11/1/2022) the coordinator of public relations and protocol of the general direction of corrections (Ditjenpas) of the ministry of law and human rights Rika Aprianti.

The arrests were made on Monday (31/10) last night at 22.15 WIB on Jalan Pabuaran, Gang Bedol, Cibinong. The arrest process was successful thanks to cooperation with the police. Currently, Bokir, who had escaped, has returned to Cipinang Prison.

“Arrested in the Cibinong area, Cipinang Class 1 Prison cooperated with the Cibinong police,” Rika said.

Bokir fled Cipinang last Saturday afternoon (29/10). Bokir was supposed to languish in Cipinang Prison to serve a 14-year prison sentence.

Allegedly, Bokir escaped from Cipinang prison by climbing to the roof of the culinary training site using a sarong. But now Bokir has been arrested again and put in jail.

The arrests began with information from members of the Cibinong Police Community Development (Binmas) who found the perpetrators’ whereabouts. Armed with this information, Lapas together with the Security and Order Coordinator of the General Directorate of Corrections rushed to the scene.

The head of Cipinang Class I Prison, Tonny Nainggolan, said that the success of Bokir’s arrest was achieved thanks to the good cooperation between law enforcement, in this case a joint team consisting of Lapas, Ditjenpas and the Cibinong police.

“We thank you very much for the cooperation of law enforcement officers, especially the Cibinong Police and the community who together helped to inform the whereabouts of the perpetrators,” Tonny concluded.
