Agents of the National Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with 27 police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The arrest took place on Monday afternoon, following the complaint by the employees of a food establishment of the San José neighborhood, in which they described how an individual entered the trade and hid under his clothes several bottles of alcoholic beverages and chocolate bars.
When requested by the workers, the individual despised, insulted and threatened one of them to then leave the establishment without paying the amount of the articles.
Once identified by the police investigators, the alleged perpetrator was located in the vicinity and arrested for the crime of robbery with violence and intimidation.
