The police arrested a man after a manhunt in Kollum. A police helicopter and an arrest team were deployed for this.
This morning around 11:00 AM, several reports came in of one person exhibiting “confused behavior”. Then the police pulled out.
The man was eventually arrested in a house in the Frisian village. The police proceeded with caution because, according to the reporters, the man had a weapon in his possession. No one was hurt.
Residents of the Frisian village were asked to stay away so that officers could do their job. Schools in the area were also temporarily monitored, reports Omrop Fryslân.
