Arrest of the accused, who killed the Argentine legend for stealing his bike

Trench Karlovich

A Argentine city judge, Rosario, has charged a 32-year-old man with robbery and causing the death of ex-footballer Felipe Thomas Trench Karlovic, who died on Friday after being hit in the head while trying to rob his bike on a public road.
In a video hearing due to the mandatory quarantine in the face of the Coronavirus, the accused denied the data that were sent to him, saying that “Trenc” was on his bike on the public road and fell while trying to avoid the car.
However, the reports available to the Public Prosecutor stated that the victim was not subjected to a fatal injury as a result of the bike’s fall, but from his second fall that resulted from a push or a blow, not yet specified, and that he fell back as his head hit the sidewalk according to the words of two witnesses who happened to be present.
Karlovic, nicknamed “Trench”, who is 74 years old, had entered a coma and died and was buried as a result of the accident. He is considered a football legend and considers him to be his greatest witness, but the absence of video and photography during his time as a player prevented documenting his capabilities.
