Arrest of journalist Esipenko in Crimea – US demands release from Russia

The Embassy of the United States of America condemned the decision of the invaders in Crimea to extend the arrest period for Radio Liberty journalist Vladislav Esipenko. The American embassy is demanding that Russia immediately release the journalist.

“Yesterday’s decision to extend the detention of journalist Vladislav Esipenko, made at a closed session of the“ court ”in the Russian-occupied Crimea, was a serious miscarriage of justice. We call on the occupation authorities to immediately release Esipenko,” the US mission said.
