Spanish police have reportedly arrested what is described as a “dangerous Norwegian refugee” in Alicante, Spain. The man must be in his 30s and have Norwegian citizenship.
He is to be wanted and arrested for physical and psychological violence, damage and violation of a restraining order in the period from 2017 to 2023, according to the Spanish newspaper Alicante all.
Norwegian authorities wanted the man in April, according to the EFE news agency.
According to Spanish media, he was arrested when he appeared at the immigration office in the city of Orihuela to request some documents.
Dagbladet has tried to get a comment from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so far without success.
