Tangerang City Metro Police moved quickly to investigate the viral case of a gunman mugging on the Tangerang toll road. The man has now been arrested by the police.
“The perpetrator has done it seized early this morning,” said Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho when contacted detikcom, Thursday (26/10/2023).
The perpetrator has the initials MAP (21). He arrested by the Tangerang City Metro Police Satreskrim Team in the Serpong area, South Tangerang.
“He was arrested in the Serpong area at 02.30 WIB early this morning. He was still taking the car,” he said.
The police then took MAP to the Tangerang City Metro Police. Currently the perpetrator is still being questioned by the police.
Chronology of Genesis
The incident occurred on Tuesday (24/10/2023) at around 05.32. At that time, Yoga and his family were traveling from Bandung to Tangerang.
Tiara, Yoga’s niece, said that the perpetrator driving the Honda Brio suddenly blocked her uncle’s car. The perpetrator told Yoga to stop.
“So this Brio car suddenly happened stand in the wayhe’s being reckless and doesn’t know why stand in the way “The car told my uncle to stop even though my uncle didn’t know him,” explained Tiara when contacted detikcomThursday (26/10/2023).
Yoga did not get out of the car considering that the perpetrator was carrying a sharp weapon. The perpetrator then grabbed Yoga’s car while banging on the window.
“Yes hit it car window and threatened flat tire,” he said.
