Mumbai: A 16-year-old boy was arrested for threatening to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan. He has received several death threats in recent times. The latest threat message reached the control room of Mumbai Police at 9 pm on Monday night.
This means that Salman Khan will be killed on April 30. The caller told the police that he is from Jodhpur in Rajasthan and his name is Rocky Bhai. He also introduced himself as a cow protector. Following this, the Mumbai Police registered a case and started an investigation.
A 16-year-old boy from Thane district was taken into custody. The teenager, a native of Rajasthan, was arrested on Tuesday. Police had earlier found that the call came from Shahapur in Thane district. Gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi also recently issued death threats against Salman Khan. This was during an interview given to a television channel. Later, an email message containing death threats was also received on behalf of Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. Due to this, police security has been tightened in front of Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai.
