Police arrested one of the seven perpetrators of the shooting Lampung Regional Police Headquarters. Six other perpetrators are still at large.
Reported detikSumbagsel, Monday (8/4/2024) the police stated that the shooting was carried out by a vehicle theft group. The identity of the perpetrator is KAW, who is registered as a resident of Bandar Lampung and was arrested in the early hours of Saturday (6/4/2024) at his residence.
“The perpetrator’s initials are KAW, a resident of Bandar Lampung. He was arrested at his residence early Saturday morning,” said Lampung Police Chief, Inspector General Helmy Santika.
Helmy said the perpetrators were a motor vehicle theft group consisting of 7 people. At the time of the incident, Helmy said, the perpetrators were driving two cars
“He is part of a motor vehicle theft group that is being hunted by the Lampung Police Criminal Investigation Unit. At the time of the shooting incident, the perpetrators were driving two vehicles, a Toyota VRZ and a Honda Jazz,” he explained.
Currently, his party is still pursuing the other 6 perpetrators. The shooting was captured by CCTV cameras. In the footage, several people can be seen using a car passing in front of the Lampung Police Headquarters and then firing a number of shots on Saturday (6/4).
