The police have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Heerhugowaard for the shooting in Oss earlier this month, in which a boy from Oss was shot from behind by a cyclist. The victim was seriously injured and spent some time in hospital.
The suspect reported himself to the police station and is suspected of attempted murder. He will be interrogated later, police say. Police suspect that the shot 15-year-old boy, who lives in a refugee shelter, was a random victim.
