Arrest Made in Jakarta WhatsApp Status Case of Confiscated Clothes

Jakarta

The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya has investigated the WhatsApp status related case ‘Ex-confiscated clothes brought home’. The creator and spreader of the post was arrested.

“It has been secured. The spreader and manufacturer,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to journalists, Thursday (6/4/2023).

Trunoyudo has not yet specified the exact arrests. However, he emphasized that they were guilty of an area outside Jakarta.

“We have followed up and some have been secured, which of course we will convey later. From several regions, of course the regions are not from Polda Metro Jaya who distribute, then produce and manufacture,” he said.

Affirm Undiminished Evidence

Trunoyudo emphasized that the used clothing evidence was still neatly arranged and not a single piece came out. The used clothing will later be presented in evidence at trial.

“Everything is arranged procedurally, professionally and proportionally. This evidence is in the context to be used as evidence,” he added.
