Sujana Fatahilah (26), resident of Tamansari, Bogor, West Java, was arrested by the police for sexually assaulting an elementary school student in Bogor City. Sujana is known as office boy (OB) at one of the high schools in Bogor.
“As for the perpetrator himself, he is an OB at one of the schools in Bogor City. He is an OB at another school (not in the same school as the victim),” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Bogor City Police, Commissioner Rizka Padhila, Friday (17/11/2023).
“There have been no reports from other schools regarding the alleged perpetrator doing the same thing at the school where he works, we are still investigating,” he added.
Rizka said that investigations were still being carried out on Sujana. It is not yet known whether Sujana carried out the action elsewhere.
“Regarding how many times the perpetrator carried out the action is not yet known and the investigation is still ongoing,” said Rizka.
Rizka said Sujana carried out the action on Wednesday (15/11) morning at around 06.30 WIB. At the time of the incident, the victim was on his way to school.
“The perpetrator was seen waiting for the victim, then when they passed him, the perpetrator’s hand touched the victim’s breasts, then the victim ran and immediately entered the school,” said Rizka.
Previously, Sujana was arrested at her residence in Sukamantri, Bogor. At the police press conference, Sujana was also present.
“Thank God, at around 22.00 WIB, the Bogor City Police Criminal Investigation Unit succeeded in arresting the perpetrator with the initials SF (Sujana Fatahilah), 26 years old, who was arrested at his home in Sukamantri Village, Bogor Regency,” said Rizka.
Sujana is seen wearing a gray t-shirt and looks down. He didn’t say much when asked by reporters. Sujana was seen being led by officers to the examination room with her hands handcuffed.
