Arrest for fatal shooting in New York subway | Abroad

Police said on the day of the incident that the gunman fired at the victim at close range for no reason. Now 25-year-old Andrew Abdullah has been arrested as a suspect. Nothing is known about a possible motive, but the police had already put a search message online for him.

In April, New York was also rocked by a shooting on the subway when a man opened fire during the morning rush hour. Ten people were injured by the bullets and another thirteen in the ensuing chaos. The gunman was arrested a day later.
