British police made another arrest on Monday in the investigation into the death of 39 Vietnamese in a truck. The suspect, a 40-year-old Irishman, is suspected of manslaughter and smuggling of the 39 migrants who were found in a refrigerated truck in Grays, near the port of Purfleet, last autumn.
The suspect will be brought before a court in Dublin on Tuesday. The role of the man has yet to be clarified.
In the human trafficking case, about 20 arrests have now been made in the United Kingdom and Vietnam. Several people are suspected of manslaughter and human trafficking. The driver of the truck confessed at the beginning of this month debt.
