Arrest: Couple is said to have sold heroin in Linz

A German-Indian couple was arrested yesterday in Linz because they are said to have sold drugs on a large scale.

LINZ. A 29-year-old Indian citizen illegally staying in Austria and a 32-year-old German woman clicked the handcuffs on August 10 in Linz. The public prosecutor’s office in Linz suspects you of having dealt in large quantities of heroin. Specifically, according to the police, they could be proven to have procured around 3,200 grams of heroin in Vienna and sold at least 1,500 grams in Linz. Young people should also belong to the couple’s clientele.

Drugs and money seized

The arrest was made with the support of officials from the State Criminal Police Office of Upper Austria/EGS. 1,850 euros and 200 grams of heroin were seized. The two accused were transferred to the Linz prison by order of the Linz public prosecutor’s office.
