The first blood drive of the year in Semur-en-Auxois took place on Wednesday, at the Saint-Exupéry room, shared with the vaccination center and arranged to comply with health directives. “81 donors presented themselves, 73 were collected including a young Chilean among the four new”, specifies Lucette Desplantes, president of the Amicale Semuroise, satisfied with the result. Extension of hours, additional collection and an increase in the number of slots are being studied. Indeed, blood reserves are low, in particular because of the end-of-year holidays and the reduced supply of blood drives with difficulties concerning their organization in companies and in students.
