The firefighters were hired for a person seriously injured at his workplace, during pruning work, Monday afternoon, in Saint-Laurent-Blangy.
A work accident caused a serious injury on Monday afternoon in Saint-Laurent-Blangy near Arras. A 55-year-old man was hit in the face while he was doing pruning work on the edge of the Departmental 950 in the Douai direction towards Arras, according to the press release from Sdis 62.
In cardiac arrest when help arrived, the man was resuscitated and taken to hospital in serious condition. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
