Information about the corona vaccination
Who will be vaccinated?
Group 1 people are currently being vaccinated. These are:
• People who have reached the age of 80.
• People who are treated, cared for or cared for in inpatient facilities for the treatment, care or care of the elderly or people in need of care, or who work.
• People who regularly treat, care for or care for older people or people in need of care as part of outpatient care services.

• People who regularly treat, supervise or care for people in medical facilities who are at a very high risk of a serious or fatal course of disease after an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Where can I get vaccinated?
At the moment, vaccinations are only given in the Central Vaccination Centers (ZIZ) in Ulm, Tübingen, Heidelberg, Freiburg, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Offenburg and Rot am See. The district vaccination centers will start operating on January 22nd. For the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, this is in Müllheim.
Do I receive a personal invitation to the vaccination?
No, there will be no personal invitations. People who want to be vaccinated must make an appointment at a vaccination center themselves.
How do I get an appointment for a vaccination?
A vaccination at the vaccination center is only possible by appointment. When you make an appointment by telephone on a central telephone number 116 117 you will receive the appointments for the first and second vaccination at the same time. Please note that when you call the central telephone number 116 117 you have to dial the “1” key to get to the appointment for the vaccination. You can also make an appointment online using the central registration platform. (The prerequisite for this is your own e-mail address and the ability to receive an SMS) This ensures that the periods up to the second vaccination are adhered to. A call via 116 117 is forwarded to the call center commissioned by the state. Please note that the vaccination doses are limited and that there may currently be long waiting times.
