After two complicated years due to the Covid, 2022 marks the relaunch of the “Secret visits” offered each summer by the AD2T (Tourism and Territories) of Cher. “We feel a certain enthusiasm on the part of companies and the publicnotes Nathalie Roger who coordinates the operation. Since reservations opened on June 2, we already have over 200 registrations.”

Forty-eight companies of all sizes and from different business sectors will open their doors this year. They were only thirty-nine last year. Among them, about fifteen new participants such as Tonnellerie Gauthier in Menetou-Salon or Ferme de la Bergerie in Lignières. These visits are a good opportunity for them to make themselves known. “It is a communication operation that is free for them”, specifies Nathalie Roger.

A total of 217 visits are scheduled until September 15. They take place in small groups of 15 to 20 people, sometimes less depending on the configuration of the premises, and last on average 1h30. In some cases, taking photos may be prohibited in order to protect trade secrets.
More visitors this year?
The AD2T manages all the communication and reservations part, the company takes care of welcoming visitors, which is not always easy in the summer because some of the staff are on vacation. The 2021 edition had attracted 1500 visitors. The AD2T hopes to return to its pre-Covid level of around 2,000 people.
