Tonight, Ikea in Aalborg has had to offer six customers and about 20-25 employees to stay overnight, because it is impossible to get them home.

– We are getting ready for a pleasant evening in the staff canteen together with our six customers. And then the plan is that we open the exhibition area so that you can sleep on the sofas or find a bed for the night. Then we will see what the weather is like when we wake up, says marketing manager Peter Elmose at the department store.
He tells the broadcaster that there is a good atmosphere among those who are stranded in the department store.
The police in North Jutland discourage everyone from driving in the entire region due to the snowy weather, and state that many roads are closed.
