He had strict rules! Arnold Schwarzenegger (76) gained worldwide fame through the film “Terminator” in the 80s. Since then he has appeared in many successful films. Things are apparently going great for the action hero in his private life too: he has five children and has even been a proud grandfather for several years. Now Arnold admits that he wasn’t squeamish when it came to raising his offspring!
In an interview with Bunte, he explains that although he was strict, he was never brutal towards his children. It was important to him that they learn discipline and that he didn’t bring in “spoiled bullies”: “From the age of five they had to do their laundry and make their beds,” the “Predator” actor says. He even burned his daughter’s shoes once to teach her a lesson: “Katherine (33) always left her shoes in front of the fireplace instead of outside in the cloakroom. So I threw her shoes in the fire and she cried my eyes out.”
But the youngest family members probably don’t have to be afraid of the muscle man’s strict rules: “I spoil my grandchildren. I’m no longer responsible for their upbringing.” His daughter Katherine now has to take on this part. The film star reveals that she is now at least as strict as he is.
