In an extensive conversation with Studio Brussel on the occasion of those concerts, Arno admits that he does not like saying goodbye, but that he has already prepared a few things for his funeral.
“I’m not afraid of death, but I do think about my children, and the people around me. At my funeral I want to hear the song ‘Like a rolling stone’ by Bob Dylan. And my ashes must be scattered in the sea, for Ostend. That’s what I want.”
Whether those performances become his musical farewell or not, Arno leaves it up to you. “I’m not thinking of parting. We’ll see, because I live today, and tomorrow doesn’t exist.”
