Arne Fredly, through his investment company, Apollo Asset Limited, has sold 1.75 million shares in the shipping company Hunter Group. This appears from a stock exchange announcement on Friday after closing time. When Oslo Børs closed, the Hunter Group share price stood at NOK 1.95 per share.
It appears from the announcement that Fredly now holds 450,000 shares, which corresponds to 1.04 per cent of the shares in the company. No sale price for the shares is given, but if Friday’s closing price is used as the basis for the sale, the transaction amounts to NOK 3.4 million.
Fredly entered the company in a private placement just over a week ago, where the company was to raise NOK 21.5 million. In the issue, he was awarded 4.3 million shares through his investment company. The investor has previously been involved in the shipping company, but sold out completely in February earlier this year.
The company also announced in connection with the capital raising that it had entered into a 3-year charter agreement with “a recognized international counterparty” for a scrubber-equipped VLCC built in 2016. The news sent the stock up 25 percent, but the rise has slowed and the stock is now up 13 percent.
According to the company, the proceeds from the private issue will go towards strengthening the working capital in connection with the charter agreement.
