About 40 runners had reported the organizers to the General Complaints Board (ARN), which now, however, gives the shipyard organization the right, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
The exercise race was supposed to have been arranged on September 11, but was canceled at short notice with reference to the pandemic. At the same time, the organizer decided that no registration fees would be paid back, which was criticized by, among others, the Swedish Consumer Agency.
Now, however, “Varvet” is right by ARN.
– We have always felt that we have conditions that support our decision. And it feels good that we have now got the eyed and that it is true. At the same time, it feels boring, because we do not want to be against our runners. So it’s twofold. It is sad that we will have to end up in such dialogues, says Göteborgsvarvet’s CEO Martin Bergman to GP.
