Army Command Stops Syrian Intelligence Directorate Patrol for Ties to ISIS and Terrorism

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation announced, in a statement, that it had “stopped a patrol from the Syrian Intelligence Directorate (M.S.C.) for belonging to a terrorist organization and pledging allegiance to ISIS, and for participating in the fighting against the army during the Battle of Arsal and attacking a military checkpoint, in addition to Providing support to armed terrorist groups in their fight against the army and their attempt to control the town of Arsal in 2014. He also attended military and religious courses and participated in security missions for the benefit of terrorist organizations.
