Army Command Stops Syrian Intelligence Directorate Patrol for Ties to ISIS and Terrorism

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation announced, in a statement, that it had “stopped a patrol from the Syrian Intelligence Directorate (M.S.C.) for belonging to a terrorist organization and pledging allegiance to ISIS, and for participating in the fighting against the army during the Battle of Arsal and attacking a military checkpoint, in addition to Providing support to armed terrorist groups in their fight against the army and their attempt to control the town of Arsal in 2014.
