Arms supplies to Ukraine – situation is improving, but two problems remain

The arms supply situation has improved significantly in recent years. However, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that there are still two big problems.

“The situation with the supply of weapons has improved significantly, the supply of howitzers from the United States and some European countries is very helpful,” the Foreign Minister said.

At the same time, Kuleba named two big problems in the supply of weapons to Ukraine, which still need to be solved. According to him, the first is the supply of MLRS multiple launch rocket systems. The minister added that negotiations are underway with representatives of the G7 on the possibility of allocating these systems to the Ukrainian military.

“The second gap that needs to be filled is aviation. This has become a high-profile story over the past 2.5 months and the issue remains unresolved. But unlike the MLRS issue, I do not see an immediate solution to this problem,” Kuleba said.
