he volunteers of the Secours populaire committee of Chartres distributed, on Saturday afternoon, new or second-hand toys to a hundred children of usual beneficiaries in front of their premises in the Abbeys of Saint-Brice.
Parents were entitled to a box of happiness as a gift. “They were given to us by several partners: the hospital, the Pep 28, the Lady with the Unicorn and generous donors. Inside each box, you can find a hygiene kit, chocolate, gloves and a hat, as well as other surprises. This makes it possible to please the parents too, ”confided Dominique Raoul, head of the Chartres committee.
The children left with their arms full of gifts, and the parents were delighted with their presents. What to rejoice the ten volunteers mobilized on this occasion.
The Secours populaire helps a thousand people a year with food, hygiene and clothing.
