FromSoftware’s new action-packed mech war game is set to launch an online arena for players to compete against each other. while others can cling to the sidelines as spectators.
There’s only a month left before Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the sixth sequel to the mech action game, is released. And one of the issues that still puzzles fans is the online multiplayer feature. It seems that FromSoftware’s development team doesn’t seem to want to clarify details or focus as much as the single-player campaign mode.
Until recently, there was one netizen on Twitter. Japanese publisher Armored Core 6 has posted a cover art for the PlayStation 5 console. The game will support both single-player and online multiplayer from 2-6 players, with text below explaining that up to 3 other players will be able to watch matches as spectators or spectators.
Armored Core 6 cases have been spotted in the wild. According to the description, the game will support up to 6-player multiplayer with 3 spectators.

We still don’t have details about multiplayer, but according to Italian journalists, the embargo for gameplay lifts next week. pic.twitter.com/hCThzVuzu6— Ziostorm (@Ziostorm1) July 22, 2023
from such numbers We can expect PvP gameplay in 1v1 duels, 2v2 and 3v3 team fights, or even a one-on-one free-for-all 6-player brawl at the same time. As for the co-op and PvE mode, it can be left out of the equation. Because the team has made it clear that there will be no co-op experience in the game. Because they really wanted the player to feel like an abandoned mercenary fighting alone.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is scheduled for release on August 25 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, but it won’t support Thai language. Unlike previous titles such as Elden Ring.
