Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon PC Version Save Data Issue: Developer Investigating

Developer FromSoftware has announced that they are aware of an issue with the PC version of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon where some players are having problems with their save data. The studio has stated that they are currently investigating the issue.

“In the PC version of “ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON” there is a problem that the save data is not saved correctly under certain circumstances,” the studio said on its Japanese Twitter account. “We are currently investigating the cause, but please end the game before putting your PC to sleep. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our customers.”

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was released in August and has enjoyed great success since launch. The game debuted by topping the weekly UK retail charts, as well as remaining at the top of the Japanese charts, selling over 163,000 copies in the country.

The game has received widespread critical acclaim. The studio even released a trailer shortly after launch to highlight some of the accolades the game has received through various reviews. Our own review gave the game a 9 out of 10, calling it a great return to form for the franchise.
