During Game RewardsFromSoftware has announced the release of Armored Core VI: Fires of the Rubiconscheduled for 2023.

Despite the name, this will be the 13th in the mainline and 20th in the franchise (counting games mobile and not counting ports and remasters, such as Armored Core 3 portable) — the last game is Armored Core: Verdict Dayof 2013.
The franchise started in 1997, with Armored core (PS1) and focuses on a silent protagonist (like Link from Zelda), who serves as a mercenary pilot in the distant future – operates robotic combat units called “Armored Core” under contract to private entities. By carrying out the missions it is possible to improve your Armored Core, increasing the possibility of earning money.
It has been known since 2017 that the new game is in development, but there was no further information until now.
